The project musikk || musik aims to start a dialogue between Norwegian and German musicologists, composers and musicians about artistic conditions for women composers. Apart from enabling discussions on the issue of gender equality it wants to promote an intercultural dialogue. Its purpose is to show –  the diverse ways in which Norwegian women composers have been and continue to be active and creative, from both scientific and artistic perspectives. The ‚fmg-Arbeitsgespräch’ scientifically investigates this issue, while the artistic perspectives will be reflected in four concerts.
